This year, we'll be in the Talladega / Anniston area along I-20 corridor (between Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA) for a fully loaded weekend of fun centered around our cars and the people who drive them. Our friends from NSXCA will be joining us again this year as well.
Friday, June 6 will be an optional track day at the Talladega Gran-Prix Raceway (TGPR), and will be a great way to "stretch your legs", so to speak. Whether you would like to learn more about how your car responds in the curves and straightaways, or are willing to share what you know with less experienced drivers, this will be a day you won't want to miss. There will be a limit to the number of cars we can accomodate for the day, so plan ahead and be ready to sign on once registration opens in Feb.
Saturday, June 7 will be a day filled with a morning drive around Mt. Cheaha (featuring the highest elevation in the state of Alabama) and an afternoon to spend with a number of vendors, tech clinics, visiting with friends from near and far and (of course) checking out their cars

The final planned event of the day will be a great dinner (we're still working on a really cool surprise location for this one).
Sunday morning will leave plenty of time for those final pictures, handshakes & hugs, and plans to hook up again throughout the remainder of the summer and fall.
The
SESM.org website will tell you a lot about last year's event in Chattanooga, and should be updated with the 2008 information in a few weeks. Participation will be limited to 100 cars (the track day limit will be around 40), so make your plans and be ready to jump on board once registration is opened. It will fill up fast!
If you've never experienced "Southern Hospitality" on a scale this large,
y'all won't want to miss this weekend!
